I am an Emmy-winning director, producer, and writer with a dynamic portfolio that spans independent films, commercials, and television projects. My career began in The Netherlands, where I cut my teeth running tapes for a daily current event show. My transition into journalism as a West Coast correspondent led me to report for Dutch news outlets, where I began directing and producing short documentary films. These early works garnered recognition at prestigious festivals like Sundance and SXSW, and were featured in the New York Times Op-Doc series.

In the commercial world, I have had the privilege of collaborating with top-tier brands such as Apple, Nike, and JetBlue, working alongside esteemed agencies like MullenLowe, W&K, Deutsch, and Venables Bell & Partners. My directorial work on longform projects for Apple TV+, ESPN, and PBS has earned me three Emmy Awards, a testament to the powerful storytelling and meticulous craftsmanship that define my work. Additionally, my commercial work has been honored with the Young Directors Award in Cannes, a Cannes Bronze Lion, a One Show Award, and an AICP Award.

As a writer and creative producer, I have brought numerous projects to life, including "State of Silence," premiering at the Tribeca Film Festival 2024. Co-produced with Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal's Corriente del Golfo, this film exemplifies my commitment to impactful and resonant narratives. It tells the poignant story of four Mexican journalists who have become targets of repression for exposing the harsh realities within their communities.

Currently, I am in post-production on my first feature film, about a beloved neighborhood legend who seeks redemption as a father after a lifetime of using basketball to mask his pain.
